The Resurgence of a fine old music venue ....

December 3, 2016

Last night was a poignant gig for me as I used to play at the Plough when Dick Pearce was landlord: he was a great supporter of young local musicians: it is great that SImon, Toby and the crew at the Plough have decided to start this new Friday early evening session and it was a real treat to play there last night with the awesome Jamie Smart and unbelievably talented guest guitarist Jim Board. What made it even more special was that the brilliant Louis Turpin and world class harmonica player Jem Turpin also did guest spots: long may this night continue (at least throughout the winter).

Please try and come next Friday (9th December) at 7pm when I'll be joined by another of my chums - the fabulous singer/songwriter Steve Stone ...
